Secure and stable environment is essential for sustainable development
Conflict affected states have historical conflicts rooted in ethnical, tribal, linguistic, regional, and racial differences and challenges – ultimately contributing to insecurity and instability. Sustainable development with long-lasting results is difficult to achieve in the existence of such pre-development dynamics, and development organizations, programs, and polices needs to understand and account for these pre-development factors to maximize development outcomes.
RSI understands and approaches sustainable development in conflict affected areas by understanding these root-cases of security and stability in conflict affected areas. We support organizations, programs, policies and services that work to understand these grass-roots dynamics along side sustainable development.
